Based on the original Landlord's game, this monopoly-like version competed with the newly developed Parker Brothers version until retired in the 1960's
Basics of the game (1932 - Knapp Electric, Incorporated)
- Each player take $1,000 at start.
- Take $250 every time around the board.
- Men line up in space marked Start and move clockwise according to players' dice.
- At the corners play only on inside triangular spaces.
- When man stops on Community Chest, cut green cards and pay Bank.
- On Chance, cut a red card and do as directed.
- Taxes - pay Bank $20. Luxury - pay Bank $75.
- Auction spaces with proper names when stopped on for first time.
- Owners build houses and collect higher rents.
- When you cannot pay a rent, retire.
By the time of the 1962 edition, Community Chest cards had been deleted from the game.
